GET UNSTUCK & Plan Your Future

March marks the end of the first quarter, making it an ideal time to review your progress. In our monthly getting-unstuck circle, we’ve been focusing on increasing physical activity, launching new businesses, and prioritizing personal well-being. Alongside community support, setting personal goals can also strengthen your leadership skills.
Identifying and addressing areas for development benefits both you and those around you, including your team. By prioritizing your development, you reinforce the belief that learning is a lifelong process. Leadership development tools often recommend retaking assessments after significant life changes, such as a promotion or relocation. With many options available, you are likely to find at least one assessment or framework that suits your needs.
To help you navigate the many options, I recommend a tool I have used personally and with coaching clients for 20 years. While we are a distributor and I am a licensed practitioner of Insights Discovery®, I am not compensated for this endorsement. The Insights Discovery tools for individual and team effectiveness have significantly enhanced my professional development and are core to my coaching practice offerings.
Insights Discovery
Based on the psychology of Carl Jung, Insights Discovery is a psychometric tool built to “help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace.”
Insights provides a strong foundation for self-awareness, which supports both your career and personal growth. After answering a series of questions, you receive a narrative and a straightforward four-color model that outlines your style, strengths, and the value you contribute to your team or organization. Each person has a unique combination of these colors or energies, shaping their behavior and responses.
After establishing self-awareness, the Insights assessment provides a roadmap to identify your next stage of development. It offers impactful workshops and reminders to deepen self-awareness, pursue leadership development, or, for business owners, build a company culture that fosters growth. Additional tools are available to support each of these paths.
If you’re interested in learning more about Insights Discovery, I’m here to help: as a licensed Insights Discovery practitioner, I would be honored to guide you through the process.
