Giving Thanks through Service

Giving back is my way of giving thanks. I serve on the boards of several organizations I believe in, and honor people—through events like the Momentum Summit—who do extraordinary work. I leverage my talents and experiences to spotlight people and causes I believe in. It’s the least I can do.

Are you ready to share your voice? With so many critical issues impacting our communities being debated in the media and on stages globally, in 2026, I am teaching you how to leverage the communication and public relations tools I use most effectively. First, I’m partnering with my longtime colleague, Pamela K. Johnson, to offer a free webinar on how to craft and pitch an Op-Ed to raise your public profile or prepare for an upcoming project, launch, or event. So, mark January 23, 2026 on your calendars and watch for registration to open in the coming weeks.
How do you use your strengths to give back to the people and causes you care about? Hit reply to let me know. I get energized hearing from you!

Congratulations, Black Collective Foundation!

The Black Collective Foundation just wrapped up their first-ever Collective Sum conference in Minneapolis. The Sum was designed to be an immersive experience exploring ideas at the intersection of culture, economic power, and civic engagement. Guests included The Nap Ministry’s Tricia Hersey and our client, GreenLight Fund. Meredith had the pleasure of attending on day one and it was a meaningful experience. Kudos to BCF!
